Legal/Illegal Techniques:

Teens & Kids Divisions-
* No wrist locks
* No neck cranks or spinal locks
* No scissors takedowns
* No bicep or calf slicers
* No jumping guard
* No slamming from the guard or to escape submission.
* No yanking on the head in a triangle (holding the head is allowed)
* No fists into the neck (box choke is allowed with forearm, not fist)
* No RNCs along the jawline (choke must be applied under the chin)
* No covering your opponents mouth or nose with your hand to suffocate
* No Boston crab-like positions
* No kesa gatame/scarf choke
* No lifting an opponent during a standing choke (guillotines and RNCs)
* No attacks below the waist (ankle locks, knee bars, toe holds, heel hooks etc.).
* No squeezing the legs around an opponents torso (from guard, back or around the neck) as a submission

* No no-arm triangle chokes (a triangle choke locked just around the neck, without the arm inside)



Adult Divisions-
White Belts-
* No knee bars, toe holds, or heel hooks are permitted.
* No neck cranks or spinal locks are permitted.
* No body triangles used as a submission are permitted.
* No slamming from the guard or to escape submission.
* No Boston crab-like positions

Blue/Purple Belts-
* No knee bars or heel hooks.
* No neck cranks or spinal locks are permitted.
* No slamming from the guard or to escape submission.
* No Boston crab-like positions.


Brown/Black Belts-
* All submissions are allowed
* No slamming from the guard or to escape submission.



General Rules-
* Using of an illegal technique during the match will result in an immediate disqualification of the match (not necessarily the
tournament if it is double elimination).
* Absolutely no unsportsmanlike conduct (cursing at others, yelling at others, fighting, etc.) will be tolerated.  If it happens, you will
be kindly asked to leave, and no refund will be given for spectator or competitor fees.
How To Win:

-All matches are submission-only, no point system will be in play
-The team with the most submissions by the end of the round WINS
-The team that reaches 5 submissions first, WINS
-In the event of a tie, victory will be decided in an overtime round


Match Time Limits:

Kids/Teens:  6 minutes
Adults:  10 minutes
Adult Swap Clock:  2 Minutes
Kids/Teens Swap Clock:  90 seconds
Overtime:  2 Minutes


Overtime Round Rules

-To score on an opponent, knocks that teammate out
-To knock out both teammates wins the match
-During overtime, the TGT scoring system will be in play
-To submit an opponent, INSTANTLY wins the match
